The Lodge in Snow
The Lodge in Snow
The Alabama River Lodge was constructed in 1996, and features 5,000 square feet of modern accommodations. A spacious great hall is anchored by a brick fireplace. The kitchenette has a full bar for snacks and refreshments. Two lounge areas offer opportunity for private chats. Conference space is provided in the same area.

In the oldest Southern style, there is a free standing kitchen and dining area, separating the lodge from the distractions of meal preparation. Chicken, grilled hamburgers, gravy and biscuits, and other country vittles are served in generous portions. No long lines or waiting in a crowded bar. Just good food and plenty of it.

Guests sleep in comfortable beds separated by full bath facilities. Linens and towels are provided. A washer/dryer is available to guests. The lodge can accomodate parties of thirty or more.

Take in a ball game on the satellite TV in the lounge, or relax upstairs in your room. Wooden rockers line a spacious porch. The occasional hoot of an owl or the howl of a coyote may interrupt the quiet night.
Corporate and private groups can take advantage of special rates. The lodge is perfect for retreats, parties, picnics and meetings. Meals can be prepared on the spot by Lodge staff -- steaks are a specialty. Or you can cook your own meals.

The guides and staff of the Alabama River Lodge want your stay to be relaxing and enjoyable.  Of course, the first priority is to get you to your stand and ready to harvest some game!  A close second is food, rest and relaxation.  The rest is up to you.
